Erickson Lubin-Noe Bolanos Set To Clash on July 10th

By Reynaldo "The Master" Sanchez

Erickson Lubin 5-0 (5 KO's), the exciting welterweight prospect originally from Orlando who is promoted by Mike Tyson's "Iron Mike Productions" - returns to the ring on July 10th  against Mexican veteran Noe Bolanos in a scheduled eight rounder. The fight will be televised by Fox Sports 1 and Fox Deportes.

Lubin takes a big step up in class against Bolaños 25-9-1 (16 KO's), who faced fighters like Ed Paredes, Rene Gonzalez, Vivian Harris and Victor Manuel Cayo. Led by his manager Henry Rivalta, Lubin has become one of the most promising prospects in the welterweight class since going pro in October 2013.

"I know that it is a very tough fight and he's also going up in rounds. We are giving him the fights that he deserve at this stage. Lubin will be in a war, but we are confident in his talent and getting another win," said Rivalta.

Erickson Lubin is training with Jason Galarza and Stacey McKinley in Deerfield Beach.

"Bolaños is a very experienced opponent and I respect his record. I think this fight will help me enhance my skill. Fighting at eight rounds is new but I'm training as if it were a fight for a world title, I think the fans and my opponents deserve to see me in the best condition to give everyone a great fight,” Lubin said.
